EVENT : 2000TREES FESTIVAL 2015

Music Liberation is pleased to once again be supporting this year's 2000trees Festival. Last year was our first visit to wholly independent event situated on Upcote Farm in Gloucestershire, and it was easily the best 3 days we had all year! You can check out our full review over here.

We'll be returning again in 2015 and after seeing the full line announced last week it's safe to say we're pretty excited to be heading back again! Something else that's getting us hyped is that this year we have 2 tickets to give away to two very lucky people!

There'll be more on that competition during May, but for now check out the full line below, and if you feel like you just have to be there head over to the 2000trees site and grab yourself a ticket!

ALBUM OF THE WEEK : TURBOWOLF - TWO HANDS

ARTIST : TURBOWOLF
ALBUM : TWO HANDS

Last week Bristol's finest - Turbowolf - unleashed their 2nd studio album 'Two Hands' through Spinefarm Records and Search And Destroy. The band first appeared on Music Liberation back in 2009 when we covered their 'Ancient Snakes' single, and we've been following their progress ever since. In recent times things have really started moving for them, with a high profile tour supports with Royal Blood and Death From Above 1979 as well as Radio 1 daytime airplay.

'Two Hands', produced by Tom Dalgety (Royal Blood, Band Of Skulls, Opeth), comes full loaded with riffs aplenty, delivered with a real swagger and enthusiasm from a band that have clearly always had the talent but finally also now have the platform to deliver and showcase to the world! // Turbowolf

EP OF THE WEEK : MATHS - THE FIRES COURTING THE SEA

ARTIST : MATHS
ALBUM : THE FIRES COURTING THE SEA
LABEL : TANGLED TALK

It's been 4 long years since we last saw Norwich hardcore screamo 3-piece Maths, when they released 'Descent' and 'Ascent', however they make a triumphant return in 2015 with a new EP, titled 'The Fires Courting The Sea' which is out now through Tangled Talk.

The record is 6 tracks long but comes in around 10 minutes, so there's plenty on offer and no filler. It's an intense listen, with chaotic fast bits and slower placid parts, but all delivered with a maturity and understanding that their time away has clearly given them.

'The Fires Courting The Sea' is available as a limited edition 12" and download over at Tangled Talk, whilst make sure you catch the band playing the Unicorn in London on May 23rd. // Maths
