Since forming in 2010 Bastille have been on a rampant rise to success, with singer songwriter Dan Smith leading the London based band to Brit nominations, festival slots at Glastonbury and Isle Of Wight, selling over a million copies of their album 'Bad Blood', and even providing music for Made In Chelsea.
We were recently invited to a special performance by the band at the Scala in London, in conjunction with HP Connected Music, one of a series of exclusive events HP are organising to raise awareness of their new products this Summer.
Among a series of new tech on display (such as the new HP Pavilion x360) was a special interactive dance floor, whereby the lighting was directly influenced by the amount that the crowd was moving using pressure sensor technology and cutting edge VFX.
It was the first time such technology has been used and really helped to connect the fans with the band, with everyone's feet literally directing the visual experience on display. As for Bastille they put on an assured performance, with the crowd certainly privileged to see them in such an intimate venue.
