Neglect

So yes im afraid to say that i've been neglecting this blog...this is in part due to my computer being out of action and so therefore im unable to download much new music, which isn't good.

However, this has allowed me to re-connect with a whole host of albums that I have on CD.

This ranges from...

Metallica - "Black" Album
Amen - We Have Come For Your Parents
AC/DC - If You Want Blood, You've Got It
Enter Shikari - Take To The Skies
The Haunted - One Kill Wonder
Nirvana - Nevermind
Rage Against The Machine - The Battle Of Los Angeles
Test Icicles - For Screening Purposes Only
Bring Me The Horizon - Count Your Blessings
Wolfmother - "Self Titled"
Queens Of The Stone Age - Rated "R"

In particular i've really got back into Nirvana.
There was a programme on BBC 2 about the
whole seattle scene, focusing on bands such as REM and Mudhoney, and of course Nirvana.

The passion and "real-ness" of Kirt's songs really struck a cord with me, and it just made some of the bands and artists that are around today seem really quite pointless. It's just such a shame that it all had to end when it did, who knows how far Nirvana could have pushed it.

Glastonbury Highlights - Definatley Iggy Pop and the Stooges, really back to form and Iggy getting loads of people on stage was brilliant. I thought The Who were quite impressive, Dave Gilmour can really play that guitar. Arctic Monkeys were pretty good on Friday night. The Chemical Brothers put on an awesome show, both musically and visually. Only saw a bit of the Manic Street Preachers but they looked good.

Hopefully the next update will be sooner...
