Leeds based four-piece Weirds have just released their debut full length album 'Swarmculture' through the Alcopop! record label.
The 10 track record is a heavy affair, with riffs aplenty and a real dark atmospheric feeling created throughout. That sound may well have generated from the band recording the album at The Nave, a unique recording studio in Leeds built into a converted church.
Whilst 'Swarmculture' is a trippy psychedelic rock journey there are also more than enough pop ideas to give the album a wider appeal.
