ARTIST: WE CAME AS STRANGERS
ALBUM: EYEDOM
LABEL: SELF RELEASED
'Eyedom' is the third album from We Came As Strangers, an avant-garde pop rock folk foursome, who after raising the money through a kickstarter campaign recorded their new album in just a few weeks of what must have been some very long hours indeed.
Thankfully for us though the band's recording pain is most definitely our gain as Eyedom is a beautiful patchwork of 9 tracks which float effortlessly from one to another, with vocalist Ellem leading things as the rest of the band (Justin Sandercoe, Tim Harries, and Owen Thomas) combine trip hop like electronica with guitar solo's and oft changing tempo's. Much to be had here on repeat listens!
