Next week sees the return of the UK Music Video Awards, and Music Liberation is pleased to see some of our favourite acts getting nominations. The likes of Drenge, Pearls Negras, London Grammar, Jungle, PUP, and Lonely The Brave are among the acts to be nominated for the awards, which are an annual celebration of creative and technical excellence in music videos made in the UK and beyond.

The event takes places at the Southbank Centre in London on Monday November 10th, with this year seeing the launch of Music Vid Fest, a conference on the business of music video creativity to run at the BFI Southbank on the same day as the Awards.

Music Vid Fest will give professionals a chance to discuss the issues and advances driving music video production here and abroad, and will include panel discussions with leading lights of music video creativity, from producers and directors, to independent and label commissioners, managers and artists.
