ARTIST: TELLISON
ALBUM: HOPE FADING NIGHTLY
LABEL: ALCOPOP!
'Hope Fading Nightly' is the third album from London's Tellison, a four-piece who have been crafting away at their rock pop formula since the early 2000's. Previous albums include 'Contact! Contact!' and 'The Wages Of Fear', with this new record being their first since signing to Alcopop! Records. The 12-track record was produced by Andy Jenkin at Rex Studio with the album artwork coming from Tom Laskowski and Lloyd Cook.
Hope Fading Nightly is a bold, thoughtful, and wholly energetic album, showcasing a band clearly reaching a point in their lives where their creative needs and personal life experiences can be aligned to great effect. There's much to be had here on repeat listens throughout the album, but stand out tracks would be 'Rookie Of The Year', 'Boy', and 'Tact Is Dead'. A special mention too for Alcopop! Records, a label that we covered lots in our early days and glad to re-connect with again!
